Everyone likes finding something useful that they never knew they had. The number of times I’ve been chuffed when finding money in a jacket pocket that I had forgotten about! Yeah, ok, I know it was mine anyway, but the excitement still kicks in.
Well, if you’re lucky enough to be the owner of an HP Mini 1000, then you may be having a similar experience very soon.
Someone has discovered a SIM card slot whilst poking around in the battery bay. Although they had to contact HP and AT&T to get hold of the drivers to make it work, it didn’t take too much effort.
It is not known yet if all HP Mini 1000s have them, but hey - it’s worth a look.
Sneaky, but brilliant - that’s what I say. Now wouldn’t it be exciting if there was another hidden feature to be found?

mine’s mini note 1001TU which was bought in the Philippines. it has a SIM slot though i’m not sure if it’s supported or if it would work after i download the drivers from the hp website. ’cause if it is, then i’m just curious why it hasn’t been used as a selling point. but regardless if it works or not, i’m still loving my mini
