MSI has been making a lot of noise lately in relation to announcing new netbooks to complement the existing MSI Wind range.
No sooner than the MSI Wind U120 starts to arrive in the hands of reviewers, the next bunch of goodies - the U110 and U115 are unveiled.
Why the fuss you might ask? Well the U115 has a hybrid SSD (solid state disc)/HDD (hard disc drive) storage system. MSI’s plan is that the operating system will run from the SSD - which in theory should be faster, and data storage will be handled by the HDD.
Another change in these two new models, is that they will use the Intel Atom Z530 processor, instead of the N270. The Z530 has a lower power consumption, which means battery life should be improved.
