It’s early evening, and you’re sitting at your desk frantically typing away at an essay or company report that is due in tomorrow morning. We’ve all been there - deadlines, deadlines and more deadlines…
It’s also more or less a guarantee that sitting beside your netbook on the desk will be a cup of something hot, whether it be tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The question is, “Will you get to drink even half of it before it gets too cold?” Well if the answer is ”yes“, then keep reading!
The solution to your problems may be a USB cup warmer. They are handy little things that plug into your USB port, and they heat up keeping your cup of hot beverage warm.
Some models of USB cup warmer also double up as USB hubs, so you can plug in other USB accessories if you wish to do so.
So, there we have it - your netbook won’t make a cup of coffee, but it’ll keep it warm!

A USB cup warmer is an atrocity committed against good coffee. You know when you leave a cup of coffee on the burner too long? It dehydrates. And it gets bitter and nasty. This is essentially a bitter-and-nasty converter for your cup of joe. Lovely.
This is why any brewed coffee should be stored in a sealed carafe rather than on a heat source.
